Where's Obama?
Hmm...Stantis does a strip about how crazy our political world is and mentions all of the major players - except one.
Where's Obama?
Of course there are the wacky pics of Hillary and McCain, and even Nancy Pelosi shows up, but isn't it kind of odd that the frontrunner - the guy who's polling at over 50% in almost every poll right now - isn't anywhere to be seen?
I guess Stantis, like so many other Republicans, is having a tough time coming to terms with the idea that they might not just lose, they might lose huge...to a black guy. Dun dun DUN!!!! Yeah, I said it - I went there. I'm sorry, but if Stantis is going to be sexist with his slams on how Hillary and Nancy Pelosi look as he's done regularly over the last few years, why stop there? Why not crack wise about Obama's looks? Duncan Hunter was more than happy to say that the reason Obama is winning is because he has "great teeth" - why not Stantis? What, suddenly Stantis doesn't want to draw big ears on a character?
Let your racist freak flag fly, Stantis. Come on, we know you wanna. John McCain is giving you permission. The whole "be afraid because he's a Muslim terrorist" thing didn't work, and now they're pushing the whole "be afraid because he's a marxist/communist/socialist" thing but it's not working, so in the last week of the campaign it's pretty obvious that the "be afraid he's a scary black man that will rob your white women and fondle their breasts and carve his name in their milky white flesh" is the next step (and no, it's not a surprise that it happened in Pennsylvania, the state that the Republicans will make sure is this year's Ohio/Florida).
The Republican party is looking to you for leadership, Stantis. You have the floor - a direct method of reaching the public. Come on, you know if it was Hillary you would have already spent several weeks on her thighs and that laugh of hers. It's time to unleash the fury - tap in to your inner REAL Republican. It's okay.
And it's all you have left.
Gonna be a long week.
