What on earth is John Kerry doing working security at the VP debate?!
While we all try to think of an appropriate answer, I'll turn today's post over to the folk who comment on the Prickly City website:
Runar says, "Let her in. She’s more qualified than Palin." Sounds like my kind of guy.
But then GBruceWilson rebuts, "And Obama!" Zing!
Finally, the sublime DerekA finishes it off with, "And Biden! Those two helped get us in this financial mess."
Good one, sir! Your debating skills are top-notch. Maybe YOU, DerekA of the Prickly City/GoComics Message Board, are qualified for VP.

Tuesday: Winslow gives Carmen her INVITATION to be a part of the debate.
Thursday: Carmen is denied entry to the debate. No explanation given. Apparently an invitation isn't enough.
Does Scott Stantis not even read his own comic strip? Was his only qualification to do his job the fact he grew up living next door to a newsstand?
I'm sorry, but I just can't wrap my brain around this. Why would they send her an invitation and then not let her in? I'm convinced that conservatives simply don't suffer from cognitive dissonance. So it makes perfect sense for Palin to joke about Biden being old - even though her running mate is older than Biden. It's how Stantis can send Carmen an invite to the debate, then tell her she can't come in. Because they're IDIOTS.

I think Stantis is submitting his story in the wrong order. It should have been:
Monday: The Straight Spin Rascal is introduced.
Tuesday: A wagon is attached to it, and they ride to the debate.
Wednesday: Carmen is not allowed in to the debate.
Thursday: Winslow remembers that he had received Carmen's invitation, which would have gained her admittance. Violence ensues.
Friday: Sarah Palin shoots Joe Biden for stealing the Rascal.
