Oh, yes. Going to find Carmine today, they are. They being Winston and Von. Von, who will be gone next week, while Carmine will be back. They can never be seen in the same place at the same time, Carmine and Von. Coincidence? Or will Scantis have Von be mysteriously turned into boner powder by those inscrutible Chinee?

I'm not violently opposed to Vaughn. Giving Carmen and Winslow a foil might help keep them in character.
But why not let Winslow compete? That could be comic gold. Suppose he "medals" (and boy how I hate that new verb?") Then there would be the issue of a national anthem to go with the thong flag.
Meanwhile, we all know that Carmen is in prison doing research on the best ways to extract information from innocent people stuck in Guantanamo for, what, five years now?

All right, I need to address one point: what the hell is with Vaughn?! I mean, Stantis is a terrible artist and most of his comics look like the rough sketches of first year Kubert School drop-outs, but Vaughn is as misshapen as a Doctor Who monster today. WTF?!

Calvin: I take nouns and adjectives and use them as verbs. Remember when "access" was a thing? Now, it's something you do. It got verbed. Verbing weirds language.
Hobbes: Maybe we can eventually make language a complete impediment to understanding.
