In today's strip, Fred accompanies his owners to a "Furnishings" store. Always the critic, Fred gives his thought-bubble opinions on certain fabrics, proclaiming a plaid pattern "too traditional!" and a floral number "too loud!" At this point, Fred's imagination goes into overdrive and he thought-bubbles the "perfect!" fabric: bones! He imagines himself sleeping on a chair with a bone pattern!
Oh, Fred Bassett: you're the most interesting little dog in the funnies!

Winslow wrote a book? And has a crazy pastor? Carmen inexplicably cares about his campaign again?
I give up. I think I'll take a week off from Prickly City and try to regrow some brain cells that it has killed. Fred Bassett it is.

Nah. I imagine Scottie is busy coming up with a rationale for his having converted to Catholicism despite the number of pedophile priests, as we all know that pastors have 100% influence on all of the members and that all of the members agree 100% with everything that their pastors tell them. For example, I've never met a Catholic who uses birth control, either.
My guess is Charles Brubaker, or possibly another FOS.
