Shucking Mussels (From the Jive)

TODAY'S STRIP

Needless to say, Winslow doesn't handle himself very well at press conferences. He should borrow a page from a prominent Democratic candidate (according to a not-so-prominent Dago) and simply shuck and/or jive.

Instead, he opts for whining.

But isn't whining about whining just more whining, ponders the ever-deep-n-thoughtful Scott Stantis, off-frame, playing the character of Reporter.

Indeed, Scott; indeed. However, please remember that whining about whining about whining is just more whining, too.

Good day.

So is this supposed to be a dig at Hillary for that whole Tim Russert/gotcha question during the debate from over a month ago when she was accused of complaining that the talking heads were going after her?

Gee, that worked out so terribly for her, pointing out that the media was trashing her constantly. Thanks Stantis, for reminding me of one of the main reasons why Hillary won New Hampshire.

Hey Cjo, quit whining about whining about whining about whining!

I kid, I kid.

Could Prickly City suck more? Look at this, more of Winslow in a fetal position and screwing up his press conferences. With all that going on, who would vote for Winslow anyway? No one, that's the point of the overarching election tale. That should be funny, right? Why the hell isn't it?

By the way, does anyone have any ideas about why Carmen would ask for Jaws of Life when Winslow went into the fetal position? Those things are used by emergency personnel for removing victims of fires and car crashes from tight enclosed spaces.

In the words of legendary jazz saxophonist Ornette Coleman (although he was surely talking about something else), "This don't make sense."
