Junk in the Trunk
Patriot Extraordinaire Scott Stantis celebrates Veterans Day (Observed) with a somber reflection on the tremendous sacrifices the U.S. Armed Forces have made in service to our great nation.
Er. Um. Uh.
With a tingle, a nibble, a chomp and an urp, Winslow's ass ate itself from the inside.
Thus endeth the strip. And this post.

Arguably the worst Prickly City ever, and that's REALLY saying something. I don't even know what it means, but I understand that discussing the possible explanations will make me a dumber person.

This one is a real head-scratcher, but at least CJo's summary made me laugh.
As a one-off joke, it is wretched. If it is a set-up for a theme this week... well that could be even worse.

Neocon Orthodox Veteran's Day is in two weeks. But Neocon Orthodox Hallowe'en will be on Wednesday. Something to look forward to!

I agree that this is one of the worst "Prickly City" strips ever.
Well, I have been commenting on Shrubville for a pretty long while now and I have decided that, since I find myself having more and more to say on "Prickly City," I am starting my own blog, which like this one will be used to criticize "Prickly City" on a daily basis. I call it "Tumbleweedtown." (Prickly City, Shrubville...it seemed to be the trend.) Anyway, I have decided to do this for reasons outlined in my first post, and I did my first post on the strip today.
Now, before you all send your goons over here to kill me in my sleep, I would like to mention that this is not a rival blog. Rather, it is just me posting expanded versions of my thoughts on the strips. And I will continue to comment here. So, please check it out if you have the time. Thanks.
(And what luck that on my first day, good old Winslow's ass eats itself!)

Aww man Chris - you should have just asked for Sacki's days. He's been desperate to get out of talking about PC on here for ages.

Furnace,
Actually posting for Shrubville would be cool, but no week is complete without Sacki's typically completely off-topic posts. Each of your posts are fun to read in different ways, and Sacki's is a nice dose of the unpredictable and disinterested, even if it's only for one or two days per week.
And I am happy to have my blog up and running. I'm mocking Stantis in a whole new way. Of course, it did help that the first day was Winslow's ass eating itself... That was truly a welcome gift from Scott Stantis himself.
