The Antithesis of Stantis

TODAY'S STRIP

What the. Who the. Huh the.

Did someone else letter today's strip??! That is not Scott's handwriting.

For that matter, did someone else write it? It's astute. It's sharp. It's to-the-point. It's the Antithesis of Stantis.

Is he finally outsourcing the humor content? Is this the first step to ultimately handing off the strip to someone more competent?

Pretty please?

I noticed the writing looked different too. But there was still the vintage Stantis trick of changing the facts to fit his needs.

I assume he was talking about this story that was in the news exactly 2 weeks ago:

The whole point is that the phone service is free if you are willing to put up with the eavesdropping/ads. But the "free" part would ruin the setup to his joke, so he changes it to a paid service, which really makes no sense.

Not to back up Stantits on anything, but I believe he's referring to paying the service provider for your normal cell service--why pay for the service when you have to watch ads? Similarly, why pay for network TV when you have to watch the ads?

Stantis has proven time and again that he won't let a silly little thing like the truth get in the way of a lame joke.

Holy cow! Who are you and what have you done with Scott Stantis?!?!

Different lettering, better art, great writing (excellent comedic timing), and very funny joke.
No way Scott Stantis did this!
