Puking the Corn Flakes
No, dear friends, I did not punch the corn flakes box this morning. Instead, I vomited up the partially-digested milled corn and malt flavoring mix I had consumed. Today has to be one of the most disgusting strips this side of the infamous Broom Hilda upskirt from May 28, 1973.
Everyone's least-favorite once-a-year recurring character, the overweight, pony-tailed, kickball-playing, diapered (diapered!), aging Baby Boomer who now inexplicably talks like Cookie Monster actually eats (eats!) Carmen and Winslow to set up a joke about him passing C & W through his bowels and out his anus.
There's some sort of commentary here about Baby Boomers expecting Social Security benefits and -- one presumes -- Medicare (how DARE they!), but it is 100% absolutely completely without-a-doubt lost amidst the steaming pile of shit with which Stantis ends the strip. Literally and figuratively.
I think it's time to name the Baby Boomer character. Please suggest away in the comments.

Good one, Stantis. You really schooled those of us who think you should add more characters. We asked for it, and you gave us Ponytail Diaper Boomer.
So his point this week seems to be that nobody should have any healthcare coverage because everybody isjust going to die eventually anyway. Healthcare is a tool of the devil, and just interferes with God's will to kill us all. I don't remember anything in the Bible about Jesus helping sick people. (The only exception to this should be cases where healthcare involves keeping a person alive in a persistent vegetative state forever.)

These groups that hate baby boomers seem to forget that for 40+ years the Boomers have driven the economy, paid SS taxes for the previous generations and provided a huge surplus in SS funds that the Feds used in other ways. Now the Boomers are coming of age, they're "greedy" and "selfish" for expecting the Feds to honor the loans the government has made from SS funds for the last 40 years. Huh?

First of all, I thought Scottie was all for people living forever. Or does that only apply to people in a persistent vegetative state?
Second, I think at least a few boomers are Republicans. In fact, and correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they vote for Bush? While the old people and the young people all voted for Gore and then Kerry? Unless they lived in Palm Beach County and had their votes changed?
My vote for the new Boomer character is Geo-Jeb.
