Soooo...Stantis has carried the water for the Republicans for years and NOW he's lost because he doesn't know where he stands anymore? The guy's an idiot. Just kiss Bush's ring and leave the thinking to him and Cheney like you always have.

Some Scott Stantis news:

Scott Stantis will be speaking at a law seminar about First Amendment protection. The subject of his speech? "Conservative Humor: Not an Oxymoron." Well, actually, based on "Prickly City" and "Mallard Fillmore," I would say it is an oxymoron. Also, apparently "Prickly City" not only has a conservative perspective, but it has an ONGOING STORYLINE. I ask you, you noble people who read this wretched comic strip ever day of your lives if only to smirk at it -- since when does it have an ongoing storyline?

I guess you could say if two characters perpetually walking through the desert constitutes an ongoing storyline.

I don't get it. What politics are bring adored? Does Carmen/Stantis like the idea of being a rightwinger, or does she/he actually stand for something?

That's what I don't get about a lot of conservatives. It seems like many of them identify with this idea of being a die-hard Bush Republican rather than having any ideas themselves.

I was wondering that too, Annie. What kind of person "adores" politics? Does that mean they care more about the political party than they care about the actual issues?

"Please tell me where the Republican party stands so I can know where I stand. Can't we just 'stay the course?' These differing opinions are *SO* confusing."
