Minister of Disinformation
Do I have the slightest notion of what's going on in the Prickly City these days other than the allusions and scenarios laid out by the crack staff of Shrubville? No, no I do not. So it is with great wonderment that I check in to go.comics.com/pricklycity to see some nonsense concerning Winslow, a 100-inch tv, and Kim Jong Il.
But let it be known that I'm sure that the Best Leader Who Realized Human Wisdom would be shocked and horrified to learn of Winslow misrepresenting him in such a manner. It's well known how the good folk of the DPRK feel about the imperialists' capitalism:
The imperialists are craftily working to infiltrate bourgeois ideology and culture into the anti-imperialist independent countries and socialist countries, prattling that bourgeois ideological and cultural offensive is effective enough to bring down those countries, which they deem hard to subdue by dint of nuclear weapons. Precisely for this reason the bulk of their state budget goes to those institutions and information bodies that specialize in the above-said offensive. They are busy faking up misinformation to be used for advertising "advantages" of capitalism and conducting smear campaigns against the progressive countries. They also preach that the corrupt capitalist life style is suitable to the intrinsic nature of human being.
Damn you, Stantis, quit faking up misinformation!
Comments
My question: would Stantis ever dress up Winslow as Osama bin Laden? Oh, wait, we're not supposed to mention that guy.
But seriously - wtf? I understand the point he's trying to make - if you actually have WMDs, we'll use diplomacy - but dressing up Winslow like Kim Jong Il? Pretty disgusting.

Silly liberals (aka Communists) think they can use their military might to get whatever they want. Good thing the neo-cons don't think that way, or they could have landed us in a huge... hey!?!? ...wait a minute!
