Scott Stantis: Gadget Inspector
I see Scott comes from the Ted Stevens School of Technology. 'Dem fancy GADGETS like IM and email are going to mess up society. I think we all should send Stantis an internet to his IM. Those IMs are handy for receiving internets. I'm surprised he didn't take his IM with him when he went on vacation. However, maybe he took his email with him. An email is just as good at receiving internets as an IM is.
In other news, if you love (to hate) Prickly City, you might also find yourself loving (to hate) Mallard Fillmore. This site takes Fillmore and Fillmore's creator Bruce Tinsley to task. Enjoy.

Are regular phones okay? Because nothing makes a traveller feel more relaxed than lining up at a bank of pay phones, struggling to balance a notepad and a suitcase, trying to find the calling card or enough quarters, only to discover that the important client at the other end is out to lunch.
Yes, we were all so much more relaxed and happy before we had this modern communication thing. If we all just went back to using semaphore, then stores would stop selling thongs for little girls, Laura Bush would stop slipping out for botox, and the Republicans would be fiscally conservative, dadgummit!

This is OT, but anyone heard that Bob Thaves died? I'm mentioning ecause I thought it was worth mentioning that Scott Stantis was the ghost-artist for Thaves' second strip "King Baloo". Do a Google search and you should find some strips.
